About the Artist

Sarah Luepker is a Chicago based artist and teacher. Her work explores how identity, environment, and aesthetics combine through both functional pottery and sculpture. Her porcelain work in particular transforms the traditional and now ubiquitous blue and white aesthetic into personal investigation. Recently she has been exploring texture and movement in her “Intuition Series,” popularized on TikTok and Instagram. She not only makes art but delights in teaching after school classes, summer camps, and evening classes to a variety of ages and experience levels. She received her BA from Lawrence University in 2019 with highest honors in Studio Art, English, and Education.
